Sun - UV Protection

UV rays are strongest between 11 AM and 4 PM and can cause painful sunburns, skin aging, and increased cancer risk.

Protect yourself by using sunblock with SPF 30+ and reapplying regularly. Shade devices, like umbrellas or tents with at least 30+ UV protection, can further reduce exposure.

Stay safe and enjoy the beach responsibly!

TIPS

  1. For optimal hydration, we recommend water, low-sugar or no-calorie sports drinks, and coconut water to keep you refreshed and replenished.

  2. Wear sun-protective hats, sunglasses, and clothing.

  3. Ensure your sunblock and shade device is 30+ rated; 50+ is even better!

*Beware of cheaper shades that notoriously falsely advertise UPF ratings. The shade should be ISO test certified.

Beach Safety Guidelines

  1. Swim safely, near a lifeguard, with a buddy, and always be aware of your surroundings.
  2. Drink water and stay hydrated.
  3. Ensure your sunblock and shade are UV 30+ rated.
  4. Ensure your shade is beach-safe compliant so it won't blow down the beach.
